Dr. Jordan Arbit graduated from UMass Amherst in 1972 with a degree in Sociology. A few years later, he attended the College of Notre Dame in Belmont, California where he earned two teaching certificates. After a year of teaching school in New Mexico to Apache Indians and Spanish children, he moved to Santa Cruz, California where he studied massage therapy and holistic health.
After 10 years as a massage therapist, Dr. Arbit returned to school to become a chiropractor. He attended Life-West Chiropractic College, where he graduated summa cum laude in 1991 and then worked for two years at a Chiropractic clinic treating primarily Mexican migrant farm workers who were injured on the job. Because many of these farm workers could not speak English, Dr. Arbit learned to perform his exams and communicate to his patients in Spanish. Then, he decided to move “back home” to the Boston area (Hyde Park) to open up his own office.

Dr. Zack attended the University of Bridgeport Chiropractic College (UBCC) and graduated summa cum laude in May of 2015. While at UBCC, he had a great evidence based education. His professors focused on the current evidence related to chiropractic care. Thus, Dr. Zack is an avid reader of the scientific literature and uses the most-up-to-date research when treating his patients.
Dr. Zack also had a clerkship in the Veteran’s Affairs (VA) Hospital in Newington, Connecticut treating vets who experienced mostly chronic, but, also acute pain. Some of his patients had pain for up to 40 years and with chiropractic care he was able to provide them with relief and increase their quality of life.
Dr. Zack grew up playing many sports and continues to play several sports along with regularly going to the gym. So, he is quite familiar with many sports injuries and how to treat them. Dr. Zack has been a chiropractic patient his whole life and continues to exhibit good health through proper diet, regular exercise and, of course, regular visits to his chiropractor Dr. Jordan J. Arbit.

Dr. Elijah Manfredi attended the University of Connecticut, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating cum laude, and receiving the New England Scholar Award for academic achievement. He then attended the University of Bridgeport’s College of Chiropractic, where he received his Doctorate, graduating magna cum laude.
Early in his career, Dr. Elijah was mentored by his father, Dr. Ralph Manfredi D.C., a highly experienced chiropractor of over 40 years, who specializes in rehabilitative and restorative therapy for injuries to intervertebral discs. These included annular tears, disc bulges, and herniated discs.
Dr. Elijah has been practicing since 2016 and has a wide range of experience. He has served as associate chiropractor in a high-volume family practice located in Connecticut (which included a frequency of patients with work and sports related injuries), the lead doctor managing a multimodal health and wellness clinic in Midtown Manhattan, and the secondary doctor on staff co-managing two offices located in New Haven and Bridgeport CT, with a high volume of personal injury and post-motor vehicle accident patients. His specialties include flexion distraction and manual cervical traction for decompression and rehabilitation of disc injuries, spinal manipulation for joint restriction and re-alignment of the spine. He also specializes in treatment of soft tissue and sports related injuries with a combination of Graston technique, active pin and stretch, additional manual therapies (i.e. passive mobilization), and rehabilitative exercises.
Dr. Elijah shares a fundamental perspective with Dr. Zack and Dr. Jordan Arbit in the understanding that we are treating people, not just injuries. His personal faith is the driving force of his approach to taking on this responsibility, and he considers it nothing short of a blessing to be able to earn his livelihood by treating people who are in pain. His goal is always to restore his patients to a pain-free state of being. In addition to the joy that he experiences in helping people, Dr. Elijah has a passion for music, believes it nourishes the soul, and is openly infatuated to his guitar(s).
